No longer a Hobo

So.

I'm home. I mean, really, really home.  I mean, home, for good.

So.

If you are my friend in RL and you still have a set of fingers, use them and call me up for coffee.  Because I am HOME, Baby !  (But yes, I know, I know, and I am getting on that phone, yes, I promise.)

I just went to college today for my "English written skillz admission test".

I rocked, of course. Because I rock.

It's a bit like being on the recovery track after a long illness - I go to the swimming pool every day.  I eat well. I try to be a good girl about my own life.  I have about 60lbs to lose, and I'm working on that.  I also know my brain is going to come back in shape.

I'm on the mend, and that's good, it's really, really good.

Also, one of my pictures made it to Schmap for the iPhone. How cool is that?

Check it out here.

My guest map is wonderful ! And you'd all be wonderful to post, all of you lurk mode readers!
Thanks and may the winds of Fate blow your way !

Back in Canada? Great! Let yourself be spoilt at home: you do deserve it!

Good! What happened to the other job (I must've missed something). Glad you're happy, though!

Great to hear? Swimming is good. Love it here.
60 lbs is a bit much. Oprah says diets don't work. Some men do like big women. I married a bony girl, but truth is my most fierce love was huge. I absolutely loved every moment of 18 months with that girl. She was in the end too strong for me. It takes a little need in a person for marriage to work. Shelly needed no one, but she was fantastic in the sack.
I went kayaking with a friend who did 3 years in the Peace Corp in Africa. She thinks my favorite charity, WFP, is part of the problem and not a solution. What is the truth? What do you think about my second most favorite charity, Catholic Relief Services? She thought badly about them as well. I know supporting local groups are better, but are big groups bad because they destroy local farms...?
Good luck with school. I am trying it myself. America is falling apart, and I am trying to regain a Certified Nurse Assistance licence I had. Last time I quit truck driving I did that work 3 years. I quit because the money variance was rough. This time I'm better prepared for that.
The daughter is still home. We love and hate each other. We could not be more different. We hugged and renewed our efforts to be good to each other again today. We both suck at getting along.
I have backed off blogging, but definitely enjoy hearing about your adventures. Thanks, Beav.
