Posting on the Guest Map

To post on my GuestMap, click on the button on the side bar.

This should prompt a pop-up window. If nothing happens, check your anti-popup service.

The pop up window will show an add (grrr free services DO come with a price.)

Click on the blue link (move on to the guest map).

Pick your pin and place it on the map of the world !

I hope this helps !

My guest map is wonderful ! And you'd all be wonderful to post, all of you lurk mode readers!
Thanks and may the winds of Fate blow your way !

Writing up your 43 things

If you want to do 43 things, go to www.43things.com (or just click on the link).

You'll need to sign up with a user profile like you did for blogger.

One of the cool things you can do there, is you can set up your profile so that your entries show up on your blog by entering your username and password.

Then, just link it like anyother website.

I hope this helps !

Changing your template

When you change your template, you do NOT loose your previous posts or pics. You will, however, lose any customizations you may have made (adding a guest map to the side bar, for example.) So if you do change your template, do keep a backup copy of your code so you don't spend hours re-customizing it.

You can use the regular templates supplied by blogger, or you can try something new and different. Blogger Templates has a couple fun designs.

To find out how to change your template, follow this link.

If your images are making your side bar disappear, you may consider a new template. However, the simplest solution may be to post smaller imager or by choosing the option "small" on your image upload menu if your images are posted through the post editor tool. If you use Picasa to upload your pictures, you can make them smaller by modifying them IN THE POST after they were uploaded into the blog...

Places I've been

It dawned on me that for new readers, this blog is not an easy one to follow... So here's a little guidance...

I started blogging in September 2004 when I was in Senegal where I was an intern at a local lawfirm. In the process, I made friends with whom I still keep in touch : 007, Adeline.

I eventually went back to Montreal in April 2005, where I got my attorney license and tried to find a job (and failed.) I was nevertheless very happy to be back with my significant other and to hang out with my friends, among other JP, Mymy and Krishna. During that time, I also made my first blog friends such as Salt Water, Xolo, Victoria, Amias, Tina, Kate and Lewis (these two stopped blogging, unfortunately). This is when I truely got addicted to blogging.

At long last, in September 2005, I was hired by an international agency for a position that requires intensive travel. Since then, I have been on the road and went to, (in that order):
- Guinea
- Paris
- South Africa
- Lesotho
- Montreal
- Pakistan (where I met my friends Chris and Michelle)
- Ghana
- Sierra Leone
- Liberia
- Benin
- Paris
- Haiti (current location)

My next destinations until the end of 2006 are:
- Montreal
- Kenya
- Indonesia
- Burundi
- Baltimore
- Montreal (where I will finish the year.)

What's next? I don't know... stay tuned !!!
