Balakot - Earthquake aftermath Bird's eye view

I was just toying around with my Flickr account, and realized that this is my most viewed picture. Interesting...

I guess a bird's eye view of an earthquake sight isn't something you get to photograph everyday....

Beaver... help! Google tells me there's no such place called Palakot. Is there perchance a reference to the place that Google calls Balakot? I thought you were in Benin, hence my confusion.

Not that confusion isn't educational, or your blog entertaining!

Flattened by the massive earthquake that struck South Asia on Saturday, October 8, 2005, portions of the village of Balakot slide down a hillside and block the main road below. Located near the quake's epicenter in Pakistan's North-West Frontier Province, Balakot is said to be the town hardest hit by the temblor.
