Thanks to Alice who wrote some very, very nice things about MOI, Da Beaver!
I'm reproducing here what she said about me, but please do visit her blog. Alice has a very interesting outlook on journalism and what it can do in the fight against bias, and her writing is quite pleasant to the eye. I look forward to reading her more when I am not on "agency time. Thanks again, Alice - and no big deal about the gender confusion - I realize my posts are not gender specific anyway :o)

Congrats, hon! And what a wonderful distinction! You've definately earned it!
Great!!!
I hope it helps you to cheer up when you're feeling down...
Thank for writing in my fotolog (I've more wonderful sunset pics from Cádiz), have you already visit my blog?
Besos!
hi beaver,
sorry for the gender confusion. as soon as I have a minute, I will go back and re-write the post with she's instead of he's. thank YOU for the shout-out. i look forward to reading you more on haiti and your other travels.
Just looked through your recent photos - very pretty. When I was in Bahamas, someone showed us the boats like you had in your photos and said they had come from Haiti to buy goods to take home and sell. I wouldn't fancy going that distance in one of them!
Also - if those are your legs in the photos, you need a tan girl!!
Guys, thank you all !
Saur, I miss your blog. Poppin in right now !
Qalamana, querida, you are always a ray of sunshine. I'm getting spanish classes from some Colombianos here in Haiti so I'll be up to speed in the Spring !
Alice, No worries, darling. I am honored nonetheless !
K-Girl, indeed, those white sticks are my legs. And I confess - I am whiter then a clean sink on a sunny day or then an adulterous husband caught in the act. Nothing I can do about it : I burn, suffer, then I get white again. It is pathetic.
Love to you all,
Beav'
